STEVENS CONSTRUCTION CORP.
PRESENTED TOP SAFETY AWARD
MADISON, WIS. (March 24, 2009) - ABC of Wisconsin recently awarded Stevens Construction Corp. with their 2008 ABC of Wisconsin Safety Award of Excellence. This is the highest award given by ABC of Wisconsin for general contractors that work over 200,000 hours a year.
"We are very proud of the safety culture that has been built at Stevens Construction Corp." says CEO and Treasurer, Mark Rudnicki. "It's fantastic to have a leading industry organization like ABC present Stevens with their highest Safety Award as best of the large contractors in Wisconsin. More importantly, it's a recognition of the hard work our Safety Director, Duane Reith, and all of our employees put in to help make us the best in all we do."
As part of the criteria for winning this award, companies must have incident rates for total OSHA Recordables and Lost Work Day Cases at least 10% better than their industry average. Stevens safety record is the best in this category.
