Virtue

Virtue is a 211,256-square-foot multifamily development located on West Washington Avenue, a gateway corridor to the Wisconsin State Capitol. Rising six stories above two levels of below-grade parking, the project delivers 140 residential units, 154 structured parking stalls, and 240 bicycle stalls. Stevens Construction Corp. self-performed 30% of the total project work, including 24 post-tensioned concrete pours that form the building’s structural backbone.

Levels two through five extend beyond the footprint of the upper floors, allowing for a recessed rooftop terrace featuring grills, seating, and serenity fountains. Additional amenities include a top-floor club room, an infrared sauna, a welcoming first-floor lobby, and a 24-hour coffee bar.

The exterior façade combines concealed fastener metal panels, multicolored MCM panels in varying profiles, refined stone, and brick veneer. Inside, luxury details include imported Spanish tile, black marble wall accents, quartz countertops, and solid maple doors and trim.

Sustainable design elements were incorporated throughout the project, including a bioretention pond and filtration ditch landscaped with native plants. Virtue also provides 10 EV charging stalls with infrastructure for future expansion, as well as five interior bicycle storage areas with E-Bike charging stations.
