Foundry on 3rd

The Foundry on 3rd is a 226,000-square-foot, mixed-use apartment building located in Wausau, WI. The building includes five stories above grade to house the commercial and residential apartments, and one level of underground parking. The first floor is constructed of concrete and features 17,500 square feet of steel stud framing for common areas and commercial retail tenant build-outs. The four levels of wood framing above contain 153 residential units and 219 bedrooms.

The apartments are complemented by a serene interior courtyard with grilling stations, as well as a third floor skywalk connecting the apartment building to a separate parking structure. The exterior combines fiber cement siding and brick veneer, ensuring both durability and visual appeal, and an EPDM ballasted roof.
