Prefab Carpenters are responsible for building wood wall panels, while keeping the production area safe, clean, and organized.
- Operate wall panel prefabrication machinery.
- Utilize basic carpenter hand and power tools, inclusive of pneumatic framing nail guns, circular saws, miter saws, and impact wrenches.
- Follow directions, cutting and assembly information from either shop management software on the machinery or printed out on hand assembly tables.
- Operate forklifts to unload bunks of lumber and to load finished components and wall panel bundles, on and off semis.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and outside yard.
- Understand and perform all safety standards.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of carpentry or construction experience
- Proven track of strong attendance
- Strong work ethic
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn
Shift:
- Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM
- Friday 6:00AM – 1:00PM
- Occasional Saturdays
Location:
- Plant Operations: Cottage Grove, WI.
