Hotel Indigo

Hotel Indigo/Madison was a very complex, historic rehab involving extensive environmental remediation, a near-total interior gut, exterior reconstruction of a deteriorated historic façade, and doubling the building size with an addition that had to compliment the original structure. Adding to the complexity of the job for Stevens Construction was the fact that we were utilizing numerous tax credit financing sources that each had their own unique reporting requirements. Stevens had to deal with reporting requirements relating to the following programs; National and State Historic tax credits, State Brownfield tax grants, PACE financing (property assessed clean energy program) and Focus on Energy rebates.

The Steven’s team lived up to their reputation as a first-class general contractor with expertise in historic structures, and without them we would not have been as successful on this great project.
