Huron Building

The 11- story Huron Building, a Class-A office and retail development, is located north of Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward on the edge of the nationally Registered Historic East Side Commercial District. The Huron Building offers modern office accommodations while respecting the neighborhood’s historical surrounding.

The first five levels of the building include secured, temperature-controlled parking and a first-floor restaurant and retail space. The building also has six floors of office space with common amenity spaces including a lounge, roof terrace and fitness center.

A key compositional element of the building includes the massing steps on the eighth floor along the east side of the building to preserve a corridor view to the historic clock tower. This area also serves as an outdoor terrace for the building’s patrons.

The building is comprised of a post-tensioned concrete frame, with exterior metal stud walls, limestone veneer and composite metal wall panel. The building is founded on close to 600 pipe piles. The exterior metal stud walls were panelized and erected onsite.
