Stevens Construction Corp. Announced Shareholder Addition and Key Personnel Promotions

MADISON, Wis. – Stevens Construction Corp., a Madison, Wisconsin-based general contractor, announced eight promotions within the executive leadership, project management, preconstruction and risk management teams. The company continues to invest in the success of its employees, whether through promotions or additional talent to support its ongoing strategic plans.

Stevens’ leadership team includes twelve industry-veteran shareholders representing operations, finance, business development, project management and preconstruction. The most recent addition to the shareholder team is Vice President of Strategy Chris Krieg. Krieg is responsible for leading strategic initiatives, fostering cross-functional collaboration for improved information flow and streamlined business functions, as well as helping to drive marketing and business development efforts.

Krieg has over two decades of construction industry experience, providing executive leadership in various capacities for the last 12 years.

“We were first introduced to Chris through a peer business group where we quickly saw his admirable passion for construction and his strategic planning acumen,” stated CEO and President Mark Rudnicki. “When Chris joined our team early in 2023, we immediately knew his contributions and insights were a great addition to the Stevens team.”

Key Personnel Promotions in Project Management, Preconstruction and Risk Management

The fast-paced construction industry is ever evolving, which requires strong leadership to ensure high-quality results and supported relationships.

“Our team members work hard to learn and grow within their roles, and they continue to demonstrate elevated levels of leadership,” said Rudnicki. “We are honored to promote our high-achieving employees in the field and the office.”

The following Stevens project management and preconstruction team members recently received promotions:

  • Alyssa Norsby Kolden developed quickly in her Senior Project Manager role and is now serving as the Construction Executive–Madison. Kolden oversees the Madison project engineers and project managers, as well as the project coordinators company wide.
  • Corey Waclawski is a 20-year construction industry veteran, which prepared him for his new role of Construction Executive–Milwaukee. He will oversee the Milwaukee project management needs, including the project engineers and project managers.
  • Matt Przybilla joined Stevens in July 2023 as the Minnesota Project Executive and now serves as the Construction Executive–Minnesota. Przybilla oversees large complex projects in the Minnesota Market as well as the Minnesota project management team.
  • Stevens’ project management veterans Derek Rinabarger and Matt Goebel advanced to Project Executives. In their new roles, Rinabarger focuses on the management of large, complex projects for the Madison market, while Goebel will be serving in the same capacity in the Milwaukee market.
  • Dave Schroeder has provided relationship-building guidance to the Stevens preconstruction team for the past six years and is now taking the role of Director of Preconstruction–Madison. In his new role as the Director of Preconstruction, Schroeder will continue to manage preconstruction on large scale, complex projects, as well as provide leadership to the Madison preconstruction team for small- and medium-sized projects.
  • Isaac Gehman advances to the role of Preconstruction Manager. Gehman joined Stevens in 2023 and quickly showed strength in preconstruction technical skills, communication and transparent collaboration. In his new role he will manage challenging projects, while developing strong relationships with clients and trade partners.
  • Jennifer Flitz is a 19-year Stevens veteran with significant exposure to processes and procedures throughout the company. She now serves as the company’s Risk Management Specialist. Flitz is responsible for reviewing and enforcing processes and procedures to identify and mitigate corporate risks or losses.
